STANDALONE SMOKE DETECTOR

As the name speaks for itself, smoke detectors are fire protection devices that automatically detect the presence of smoke and triggers an alarm to the building occupants. But what is a standalone smoke detector?    

Well, there are two main types of smoke detectors, they are ionization smoke detectors and photoelectric smoke detectors, where ionization smoke detectors detect smoke using ionized particles while the photoelectric smoke detectors use a light source/sensor to detect smoke.
